Day 2 Update
Just when I thought I was in the home stretch, SBM surprised me by saying we should continue our juice fast another few days. Instead of a 3-day fast, we are now on a 5-day fast.
For the last 2 days of our fast, we will change some things up! Instead of continuing on all juice, we will ease back into eating solid food by juicing until dinner. At dinner we will eat a small (mostly raw) meal. This is a little change, but our digestive systems will thank us for it :)
Tomorrow morning, I'll head to the Farmer's Market to get some more fresh produce. The trip to the Farmer's Market is one of my favorite parts of juicing.
How do I feel?
The nitty gritty:
Day 2 is more intense than Day 1, but I'm still not hungry. I had no trouble falling asleep last night. Waking up was easy this morning, and I feel well-rested. I started the morning with a glass of Get Up & Go and a steaming mug of green tea.
I am still feeling the effects of the detox. My breath is worse than yesterday. No matter how often I brush my teeth, the detox has taken over... I'm still sweating out spinach (sorry for the scent, fellow yogi classmates), and have a slight headache. Worst of all, my face is breaking out :(
After yoga, I sipped on some Mean Green. Then I headed straight for the tub and treated myself to a hot Detox Bath before going to bed early.
